Colorado

The Dairy Arts Center recently celebrated their grand re-opening, after a lengthy renovation that has transformed this Boulder arts center. Music, art, dance, and theater have a beautiful new home! Check out the Dairy Center website for upcoming performances and events.

In the National Geographic Explorers Journal, WeRobotics co-founder Patrick Meier writes about the use of marine robots in Nepal to map and monitor glacial lakes in the Himalayas. Palmer Land Trust - one of the largest local land trusts in the nation - is partnering with the City of Manitou Springs to preserve 33 acres of public land in the Black Canyon Open Space. Thanks to a $293,000 grant provided by Great Outdoors Colorado to assist with the purchase of the land, Palmer Land Trust will provide ongoing stewardship and ensure the conservation of the land in perpetuity.

Did you know that Food Gatherers of Ann Arbor serves 100,000 meals a year at the Food Gatherers Community Kitchen? This dining room is open 7 days a week, 364 days a year, to anyone in need of a meal. Help Food Gatherers fight hunger with a matching gift program from Weingartz, now through October 11th.

The Ozone House 8th Annual Harvest of Hope Benefit was a smashing success! More than 200 guests attended this event on September 9th in support of Ozone’s House’s mission to provide assistance to runaway, homeless, and high-risk youth and their families.
