Audit Manager

Denver, Colorado – Full Time

We are currently seeking an individual to join us in our mission to further the good that our clients are doing in the world. This audit management position offers considerable potential for advancement for the individual with the technical skills, entrepreneurial drive, and social conscience that it requires. Job Description

  • Manage audit, review and compilation engagements from planning through issuance

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, evaluate internal controls, and communicate effectively with clients

  • Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives

  • Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented

  • Prepare Form 990s for clients

  • Develop staff and provide on the job training

  • Ensure adherence at all times to firm and professional standards

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Maintain the minimum number of chargeable hours as set annually


The successful and ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA Licensure in Colorado

  • Minimum of 7 years of recent audit management experience in a public accounting firm

  • Experience with management of nonprofit audits

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, balancing efficiency with essential communication and attention to detail

  • Preference for working within a small, non-traditional firm environment

  • Exemplary interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with audit engagement software

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve independently

  • An open, engaging, and competent demeanor when interacting with clients
