The Alliance for Climate Education is seeking sponsorships for the organization's 10-year anniversary celebration on May 2, 2019. ACE's mission is to educate young people on the science of climate change and empower them to take action. The celebration will take place in San Francisco, honoring inspiring young leaders in the climate movement. Guests will include business leaders in renewable energy, genX professionals, genZ and millenial activists, tech pros, government representatives, nonprofit partners, philanthropic communities, press and more.

DOVE (Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment) is a Denver nonprofit focused on collaborating, educating, and advocating to end domestic violence and sexual assault in the Colorado Deaf community. DOVE recently announced that they are recruiting more Volunteer Advocates (VAs) to help provide direct services to survivors in the Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Deaf-Disabled, and Hard of Hearing community. All VAs undergo a free 30-hour training offered annually by DOVE. This year's training takes place in March, so if you're interested in becoming a Volunteer Advocate with DOVE, don't miss it! The 2019 NCSLI Technical Exchange will be held on February 25-27 in Orlando, Florida. This annual event provides training, education, and networking for professionals in the field of metrology and measurement science. NCSL International is a member-based nonprofit professional trade organization that provides opportunities for the world’s measurement science experts and practitioners to network and exchange information, to promote measurement education and skill development, and to develop means for organizations to resolve measurement challenges.
