Every year, Altruic Advisors hosts a firm-wide retreat for all our remote accounting professionals. This year's retreat coincided with the Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor's Golf Outing For Youth Scholarships, for which Altruic Advisors sponsored the "Closest To The Pin" contest. Since our staff couldn't attend the golf outing, another of our Ann Arbor nonprofit accounting clients - Ozone House - went in our place. And as luck would have it, Ozone House's Executive Director took home bragging rights for landing closest to the pin! We love seeing the organizations we serve supporting each other and having fun to boot.

It's back-to-school time for Boulder Valley Waldorf School! With a 38-acre school campus outside of Boulder, Colorado - including an "inner campus" with school buildings and play yards, plus three organic farm fields and open space for field trips and outdoor learning - there's a lot to prepare for the upcoming school season. Parents and families of BVWS students will be pitching in with a Parent Work Day to make sure the classrooms and facilities are ready for classes to begin later this month.

Congratulations to the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, whose new building in Denver's Golden Triangle took top honors in the ENR Mountain States 2018 Best Projects competition! This engineering and construction competition is juried by nine judges from all areas of the industry, including architects, GCs, green consultants, virtual designers and engineers. The Kirkland Museum's new facility in Denver, Colorado, won this year's Cultural/Worship category of the Colorado/Wyoming/Dakotas region.
