On April 21, Alliance for Climate Education - a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating young people on the science of climate change - held a community discussion at an Earth Day Celebration in Longmont, Colorado. The discussion focused on people affected by climate change, and how they can take action. Alliance for Climate Education's mission is to empower and educate students about climate science. The award-winning organization has reached more than 2.2 million youths in their ten-year history, with a goal to engage 3 million by the end of 2020.

The Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Arts recently reopened in their new location in the heart of Denver's Golden Triangle Museum District, and is already accumulating accolades. Westword named the Kirkwood Museum the "Best New Mile High Landmark" and "Best New Public Sculpture Group" of 2018, and a Wall Street Journal article acknowledges the unusual display philosophy and personal feel of the 38,500-square-foot building that houses more than 30,000 works of art. The 73rd Annual Convention of the Michigan Association for Justice will take place May 11-12, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan. The two-day seminar and banquet will focus on trial advocacy, technology, and employment civil rights, as part of MAJ's continuing mission to support the work of attorneys and promote a fair and effective justice system.
