As a Certified B Corporation™, our company has been verified by B Lab™ to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. B Lab is a nonprofit network founded in 2006 with the goal of transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
B Corp Certification is an ongoing process. In order to maintain certification, companies must undertake the assessment and verification process every three years, demonstrating they are still meeting B Lab’s standards. Altruic Advisors was only recently certified as a B Corporation in 2022, but we’re not letting grass grow under our feet.
Altruic Advisors continues to encourages volunteerism among our team members by offering paid Volunteer Time Off. Over the past year, our staff have put this benefit to good use by volunteering a combined total of 546 hours with nonprofits and charitable organizations.
We know that it takes a village to create change. To support the work of the nonprofit community, Altruic Advisors is committed to donating at least 20% of our annual profits. Since our inception, Altruic Advisors has donated more than $150,000 to nonprofit organizations across the world.
While we have always been conscious of our environmental impact, Altruic Advisors is finding new ways to reduce our carbon footprint even further. By embracing fully remote audits for nonprofit organizations, we are eliminating unnecessary travel, reducing emissions, and avoiding higher costs for our clients.
