Our nonprofit accounting staff live and work in different communities all over the country, and once a year we all make an effort to get together face-to-face. This year, our staff gathered outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan, for several days of team-building and planning for the future. We spent a day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, where we had the opportunity to be a direct part in making a difference in someone's life. Who knew that accountants are as handy with hammers and saws as we are with spreadsheets?
