Working remotely has many benefits - flexible schedules, no commute, and a better work/life balance are just a few of the reasons why our staff loves telecommuting. But even with email, video chats, and collaborative documents, there’s still no substitute for face-to-face interaction. With nonprofit accountants and administrative staff spread from Denver to Washington, DC, we can’t exactly pop our heads around the corner to catch up with our coworkers. That’s why it’s important for us to get the whole team together at least once a year for a company retreat.
On Wednesday, September 20th, all Altruic staff will be attending our annual retreat in the heart of Denver. We’ll have a packed agenda of accounting standards updates, new programs and processes to increase efficiency, and a focused discussion on how we can better serve our nonprofit accounting clients. And of course, there will be some good, old-fashioned team building to welcome new staff members and strengthen our working relationships. We believe that a strong team and clear communication is the key to serving our clients effectively.
We ask for your patience tomorrow while we focus on our staff retreat. All messages will be returned on Thursday, when we’ll be back to business as usual. If you have suggestions for ways we can improve our nonprofit accounting services - or if your organization’s needs have not been addressed by traditional accounting solutions - don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
