Prior to working in public accounting, Sarah spent 10 years at a global investment bank in New York as a corporate bond research analyst in the debt capital markets. After moving with her husband to Chicago, Sarah focused full time on raising her three young boys and numerous volunteer commitments in her urban Chicago neighborhood. Eyeing a return to the business world, in 2019, Sarah completed the two-year post-graduate CPA Accounting Program at Northwestern University's School of Professional Studies. Sarah is thrilled to be on the Altruic Advisors team where she combines her love of accounting and her desire to support the work of non-profit organizations.
Sarah is from Reston, Virginia (near Washington, DC) but is a happy midwestern transplant. She now resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her husband and busy - now teenage - boys. These days Sarah spends her free time chauffeuring said boys or spectating on the sidelines, but she also enjoys listening to podcasts, volunteering at her kids' schools, and spending time with family on Lake Michigan.
