Ryan is married with three children. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys working on the tree house with his children. Ryan also enjoys camping, running, hiking, playing hockey and practicing his skills on his hammered dulcimer and his djembe.

Fun Fact: Ryan was once served a spaghetti dinner on live TV by the infamous Bill Rodgers the night before the Boston Marathon. Bill is a four-time champion of both the Boston and New York City Marathons. Ryan proceeded to serve it back to Bill the next day by beating him in the Boston Marathon. (Full disclosure: Bill was way ahead before ultimately dropping out at the top of Heartbreak Hill due to dehydration . . does that still count?)
